Solutions’ BBB campaign begins on Mother’s Day, May 12, and ends on Father’s Day, Sunday, June 16, 2013. This year’s theme is It’s a Wonderful Life. The Baby Bottle Boomerang directly supports the programs offered free of charge within our community that include: pregnancy testing, ultrasound exams and STD/STI screening and treatment. Solutions also offers mentoring programs for sexual abstinence, parenting and post-abortion support. The BBB supports our Straight Talk program that reaches thousands of students throughout Monmouth County. We are grateful for the help of our supporting churches and church liaisons, together we are helping others discover Life is a Wonderful Choice!
Liaisons are the key to coordinating the BBB. Solutions will be distributing the baby bottles during the week of April 29th. Liaisons can contact Lorrie@solutionsphc.com and let her know how many baby bottles, bulletin inserts and posters are needed and when it’s convenient to come by to pick up the supplies for the church. Such a simple act to help others discover that LIFE is a Wonderful Choice!
We have found that when a woman who is considering abortion has an ultrasound exam, her decision is often changed. The ultrasound is an amazing tool! The Baby Bottle Boomerang is an opportunity for families to have hands-on involvement in a project that saves the lives of unborn children and makes a lasting difference in mothers’ lives.
How does the BBB work? With the help of a liaison, Solutions will provide the specially designed bottles for each member of your church. Members are encouraged to take a baby bottle home and fill it with spare change/cash and then return the bottle back to church on Sunday, June 16, 2013 (Father’s Day). The church liaison gathers up all the bottles and returns them to Solutions, where volunteers empty the bottles and have the coins counted at a nearby bank. Bulletin inserts for the church are provided explaining how the program works. It’s that simple.
